Sarah Mazzetti

Sarah Mazzetti is an illustrator and comic artist based between Milan and Bologna, Italy. Born in Bologna in 1985, she creates striking graphic images with bright colors and bold lines, strongly influenced by mid-century graphic design and designers like Lora Lamm and Alex Steinweiss. Sarah's editorial illustrations have appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Die Zeit, Esquire, Vanity Fair, and Wired. Her commercial clients include Louis Vuitton, Warby Parker, and Dr. Martens. She is also an author of illustrated books and comics. In 2019 she received the International Award for Illustration Bologna Children Book Fair/FUNDACIÓN SM. Sarah co-curates Teiera, a self-publishing label, with Giulia Sagramola and Cristina Spanò, and teaches illustration at IED Milan and ISIA Urbino.
