Belle graduated from Bath Spa University with a BA in illustration in 1994. Since then she has worked as a busy freelance illustrator for clients worldwide. Over the years she has received silver, bronze and gold awards for her editorial and personal work from the Association of Illustrators in London.

With a desire to bring movement and narrative into her work, she embarked on an MA in Animation at The Royal College of Art. Her student films ‘High’ and ‘Sleep with the fishes’, have been screened at film festivals worldwide.

Belle lives and works in Hove, practicing both disciplines. Recent clients include The Economist, The World Today, The BMJ, English Heritage and Spiral Productions, amongst others.
