Martcellia Liunic is an Indonesian illustrator, visual artist, and creative director based in Jakarta. Born in 1989, she creates playful, colorful illustrations featuring animal characters mixed with human emotions, as well as honest feelings portrayed through comics. Martcellia is the creator of "Liunic on Things, " an art label and fashion brand launched in 2015 that sells wearable art items based on her illustrations. She works in gouache, acrylics, and various mediums including murals and fashion items. Her bold, cute, and trippy aesthetic aims to be a mood booster. Martcellia quit her day job as an art director in 2016 to work full-time as an illustrator. She has been featured by It's Nice That and Girlsclub Asia.
