Nicole Rifkin

Nicole Rifkin is an award-winning illustrator from Baltimore, Maryland, based in Upstate New York. They graduated from Pratt Institute and earned an MFA in Illustration as a Visual Essay from School of Visual Arts. Nicole's work has appeared on The New Yorker cover multiple times, with visual storytelling for The Atlantic, Wired, Buzzfeed, Fast Company, New York Magazine, The New York Times, Showtime, Variety, and Vulture. Their narrative-focused illustrations are influenced by punk DIY culture and comic artists. They teach part-time at Parsons School of Design.
