Katherina Manolessou

Katherina Manolessou is a London-based illustrator, printmaker, and lecturer. Born in Greece in 1972, she studied Chemistry before moving to London in 1995 to work as a 2D animator. She later studied Illustration at Kingston University and Communication Art and Design at the Royal College of Art, graduating with distinction. Katherina specializes in screen printing, artist's books, and children's book illustration. She has worked with Ted Baker, Prospect, The Guardian, and Random House. With a PhD in Children's Book Illustration from Anglia Ruskin University, she is a Senior Lecturer there and has written and illustrated numerous children's books for UK publishers including Quarto and Pan Macmillan.
