Charlotte Dumortier

Charlotte Dumortier is a Belgian freelance illustrator based in Antwerp. Born in 1988, she creates bold editorial illustrations, posters, animated GIFs, murals, and comics with a playful, surreal sensibility. After graduating, she worked in a graphic design studio which transformed her style from fluid to simpler and bolder. Charlotte's work features vibrant colors and strong compositions, often exploring the absurd in everyday life. She was the Artist in Residence for ELCAF 2018 and co-runs Yum Yum Zines with illustrator Shamisa Debroey. Her clients include De Morgen, De Stad Antwerpen, The Lifted Brow, and Use-it Maps.
