Collection: Marcus Oakley

Marcus Oakley is a freelance illustrator and graphic artist based in Dunfermline, Scotland, originally from Norfolk, England. After studying Fine Arts and Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Arts, he worked as a designer at Paul Smith before going freelance. Marcus creates bold, colorful, and geometric work influenced by architecture, design, nature, modernist and mid-century movements, the Bauhaus, skateboarding, and folk traditions. He works internationally on editorial, textiles, cookbooks, advertising, homeware, packaging, and music projects. Marcus has worked with The New Yorker, The Guardian, Channel 4, Levi's, Uniqlo, Random House, Origin Coffee, GQ Style, Vogue Japan, and the V&A. He is also a guest lecturer at multiple universities.
