Born and raised in Milan, Lorenzo had been an educator for more than 10 years when he decided one day to give illustration a shot. He had always loved to draw but never thought to make a living out of it.
He quit his day job and took The Mi Master in Editorial Illustration full time for 1 year. He was then contacted by Ella Lupo from Purple Rain Illustrators and started to work as an illustrator for U.S. newspapers and magazines. In 2016 he won a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators in New York with the series of minimalistic portraits called “Quick Portraits”.
