Oliwia says "I'm a Polish illustrator based in London. I usually work with acrylics, and occasionally dabble with paper cut outs. I draw influence from Polish folklore, my position as an immigrant in Brexit Britain and I like to paint to make sense of the things that are happening around me.
This painting is mostly the latter. It was a lockdown project to illustrate the things that happened in my life in 2019/2020, kind of like a visual diary. It was a good archiving exercise."
