Timba Smits is an award-winning Australian designer, artist, and illustrator based in East London. Born in Melbourne in 1980, he is the founder of independent micro-publishing house Wooden Toy Quarterly and former Creative Director of Little White Lies and Huck magazines. Tim ba's work is heavily influenced by mid-century design, vintage packaging, comics, and pop culture from the 1940s-1960s. His bold, colorful illustrations feature expertly crafted typography, portraiture, and playful characters with meticulous detail and humor. Timba has worked with Adobe, AirBnB, Apple, Canon, Disney, Dunlop Racing, Empire Magazine, ESPN, Nike, Penguin Random House, Playboy, and The Guardian. He is founder of The Daydream Club and represented by Jacky Winter Group. He sells prints through RoomFifty.
