Mélanie Johnsson

Mélanie Johnsson is a French illustrator, graphic designer, and letterer based in Margate, UK. After studying graphic design in Paris, she traveled globally before moving to the UK in 2014 and going freelance in 2015. Her bold, playful work features quirky, colorful designs with unique Scandinavian influences from her time living around the globe. Mélanie creates joyous illustrations for brands across homeware, stationery, fashion, and editorial fields, prioritizing sustainable and eco-conscious clients. She has worked with Anthropologie, Adobe, Mollie Makes, Paper Culture, and Pureology. A long-time vegetarian and ocean advocate, she also creates murals and self-publishes zines.
