Collection: Julia Dufossé

Julia Dufossé is a French illustrator and graphic artist based in Chicago. After leaving a PhD program in history, she transitioned to illustration, inspired by airbrush techniques of the 1970s and 1980s. Her surreal and atmospheric digital illustrations feature vibrant colors, glossy textures, and nostalgic moods reminiscent of vintage advertising. Julia has worked with A24, Apple, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Moncler, MIT Technology Review, and Bon Appétit. She co-hosts an illustration podcast with her wife Kate Dehler and won The Design Kids' 2019 Awards. Her work creates a sublimated version of reality through careful attention to lighting, texture, and detail.
