William Luz is an artist and illustrator who works with drawing, ceramics, painting, print and occasionally music. He is interested in colour, form, movement and finding new ways of representing the seen world using found and unexpected materials. Working initially from a wide range of reference material collected over many years, these images become abstracted, combined and deconstructed to produce a new personal visual history that is at once recognisable and new.
William is one third of Nous Vous Collective, has exhibited internationally, is a lecturer on MA Illustration at London College of Communication and writes a regular column in the Smudge magazine.
