Édith Carron

Édith Carron is a French illustrator who has been working out of Berlin for the past ten years. Her portfolio comprises a beguiling combination of fun, socially-conscious and mischievous themes delivered in coloured pencil, print, and animated projects. She studied illustration at the Estienne school of art in Paris, in Strasbourg Arts Décoratifs School and also has a diploma from the Berlin Weissensee school of art. Droll, spontaneous and colourful, her work explores social and sociological themes – particularly looking at representations of women and feminism. Edith Carron illustrates for many international editorial magazines such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, the Guardian, Süddeutsche Zeitung, M le Monde Magazine, Elle or Vogue. She also collaborates with many international brands such as Shiseido, Gucci or Google. She regularly posts a collection of personal works in her "Journal", in which she takes snapshots from everyday life. She has shown her artwork, drawings, scarves and ceramics in several collective and solo exhibitions in Europe.
